This makes us so happy. Copper (racing name Red Liberty) , a stunning liver chestnut gelding hand picked out of a racing stable in Gunnedah by Offthetrackhorses founder Jo Mckinnon. After almost a year letting him down and retraining him on her property at Quirindi he’s gone on to make a local girl Leah Dewick very happy and won a broad sash at the Gunnedah Show this weekend. It’s all about paying it forward.
